Research & Culture

Applied research, from academia to market

From diagnosing small businesses to market, academic and ethnographic research — understanding the problem before designing the best possible digital solution.

Market research and business diagnosis

Before becoming a designer, I was a Local Innovation Agent for the SEBRAE/CNPq program (2015–2018), doing diagnosis, quantitative and qualitative research, and strategic planning for small businesses.

Adapting products for different markets

Adapting a product for another market is more than translating text — it's understanding how culture, habit and expectation change the way people use something. It's a lens I carry from several angles: in designing products that cross borders, in translating and localizing multilingual content, and in my own personal trajectory — trilingual (PT/EN/ES) with real, not just theoretical, international experience.
